Class Experience
In this class, students will work on a variety of division facts to build fact fluency and a fundamental understanding of division. We will start by discussing what division is and some strategies to solve division facts. Some of the strategies we will discuss include tape diagrams, pictures with groups, and skip-counting. We will do some practice problems together and end with a division dice game. Students will be able to practice the skills they learned and build fact fluency through the...
Students will build division fact fluency and increase their understanding of what division is.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
