Diving Into First Grade Writer's Workshop With Teacher Richelle
Students will be exposed to Opinion pieces, Informational/Explanatory writing and Narrative pieces. Students will focus on a topic, respond to questions and suggestions from peers, and add details to strengthen their writing as needed.

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of the six traits of writing: Voice, Ideas, Presentation, Conventions, Organization, Word Choice, and Sentence Fluency.
Homework is not required, but I highly recommend practicing the skills outside of class. There will be worksheets and suggestions for practice throughout this course
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
