Description
Class Experience
Day 1 - Students will use a graphic organizer to brainstorm ideas, and then, they will organize their ideas into a paragraph. Day 2 - Students will learn how edit their paragraph and write a final draft of the paragraph.
I have taught in an elementary school for the past thirteen years. Students struggle to know how to edit their own writing. This course will give students practice with editing their writing.
There will be no assigned homework in this class. If students do not finish their writing in class, they may finish after class.
Students will need the following materials each week: - Graphic Organizer (This will be posted before class begins each week.) - Pencil - Notebook or Writing Paper - Editing Checklist
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
