US Grade 1 - 3
This is an ongoing class that will meet two times a week. This course is designed to give students time to practice writinga paragraph. During each class, students will be given a new topic. They will brainstorm in each class and will be given time to write. Below is a breakdown of each class: Introduction: We will start each class with a brainstorming activity. I will provide the students with the topic, and the students will be given time to brainstorm. We will be using graphic organizers to help us brainstorm. After the students have finished brainstorming, they will share their ideas with the group. Writing: In each class, the students will be given time to write. The students will write on the day's topic. As the students are writing, the teacher will be helping students with their writing. After writing, the students will draw a picture to go with their writing. I will provide a graphic organizer before each class. Students will need to bring the graphic organizer, a notebook or writing paper, a pencil, and some crayons to class.

This class provides students with time to brainstorm ideas and practice their writing. It also allows students the opportunity to write on a variety of topics.
