With over 10 years of teaching experience across all age groups, from preschool to college, I have developed a deep passion for making learning engaging, creative, and accessible. My primary focus has been on language arts, where I help students strengthen their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills through literature, storytelling, and thematic analysis. Currently, I serve as an adjunct instructor, a high school teacher, and a homeschool mom, allowing me to connect with students in diverse learning environments.
I have extensive experience incorporating pop culture and storytelling into my lessons, using well-known characters and narratives—like those found in Disney films—to teach literary elements, themes, and character development. By blending entertainment with education, I create interactive and meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to think critically about the stories they love. My background in working with students of all ages ensures that I can tailor lessons to different developmental levels, making learning both fun and enriching.
