****Students will use Nearpod for these classes, an interactive program that will keep your travelers engaged. Once enrolled, I will send a document that explains how your traveler can easily use Nearpod with Zoom on one or two devices. About 10 minutes before each class, I will send the link to join Nearpod for that class. Students will learn a bit about Norway, Scotland, England, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Morocco, Kenya, China, Vietnam, Australia, the Polynesian Islands, Colombia, Mexico, & the USA! We will see where these places are located, what language they speak there, their flag, famous places, monuments, some traditional foods, animals that live there, celebrations/holidays, and more!
I am a certified K-6 teacher. Through this class, "the Disney characters" will show us a bit about their life in these countries. We will not go too in-depth because of the time limit and the age of the learners.
1 file available upon enrollment- A printable coloring page provided prior to class (optional but recommended) - Something to color with (crayons, colored pencils, or markers) For Norway, Germany, and Mexico: only printables that will be sent each week and the supplies listed above For France: - A white piece of paper for the sunflower activity - Yellow, green, and brown paint for the sunflower activity - A paintbrush and a fork for the sunflower activity (the fork will be put into the paint) For Morocco: - a piece of paper - something to draw with For Australia: - a plate and knife - a slice of white bread - butter/margarine - nonpareil rainbow sprinkles *optional if you don't want your child to participate, online activity will be available
