Class Experience
****Students will use Nearpod for this class, an interactive program that will keep your travelers engaged. Once enrolled, I will send a document that explains how your traveler can easily use Nearpod with Zoom on one or two devices.**** The Eiffel Tower, macarons, and snails! Oh my! Put on your princess dress or your Mickey ears, and let’s travel together to France to visit the characters from Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Ratatouille, and The Aristocats. Students will learn where France is, the flag, some words in French, the Mona Lisa, some typical food, some famous monuments, and more!
Through this class, "the Disney characters" will show us a bit about their life in France. We will not go too in-depth because of the time limit and the age of the learners.
2 files available upon enrollment- A printable France coloring page provided prior to class - Something to color with (crayons, colored pencils, or markers) - A white piece of paper for the sunflower activity - Yellow, green, and brown paint for the sunflower activity - A paintbrush and a fork for the sunflower activity (the fork will be put into the paint)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
