This class is taught in English.
Students will learn where Denmark is, the flag, the language spoken there, some typical food and animals found there, the capital, Copenhagen, where the Little Mermaid statue is, and more!
Through this class, "the characters of the Little Mermaid" will show us a bit about their life in Denmark. We will not go too in-depth because of the time limit and the age of the learners.

We will see/visit the Little Mermaid statue in Denmark through pictures and virtual reality. This is a statue from 1913 of a mermaid without a bathing suit top. If you are uncomfortable with your child seeing this piece of art, then I recommend not enrolling in this class and checking out one of my other country classes. A document is attached to the welcome message that explains what Nearpod is and how to join. No subscription is required.
