****Students will use Nearpod for this class, an interactive program that will keep your travelers engaged. Once enrolled, I will send a document that explains how your traveler can easily use Nearpod with Zoom on one or two devices.**** Are you ready to go where it's better under the sea? On this trip, we will learn where Denmark is, draw the flag, learn a few words in Danish, and watch a video to hear what the language sounds like. We will also learn about some typical food there such as smørrebrød, see some animals such as the European Adder snake, go to the capital, Copenhagen, to see the Little Mermaid statue, and more! At the end of every trip, we do a quick review to test the knowledge we have learned together in Denmark. We will learn through a variety of ways such as coloring, pictures, videos, reading, slides, music, and virtual reality. Make sure you have your passports ready! Students will learn where Denmark is, the flag, the language spoken there, some typical food and animals found there, the capital, Copenhagen, where the Little Mermaid statue is, and more!

Parental Guidance
We will see/visit the Little Mermaid statue in Denmark through pictures and virtual reality. This is a statue from 1913 of a mermaid without a bathing suit top. If you are uncomfortable with your child seeing this piece of art, then I recommend not enrolling in this class and checking out one of my other country classes.
A document is attached to the welcome message that explains what Nearpod is and how to join. No subscription is required.
