Class Experience
Students will learn to play up to nine Disney songs in this book. They will learn to evaluate specific elements of each song and practice ear training. They will have an opportunity to perform for parents and students in the last class.
Students should spend time practicing each day after class and complete any tasks assigned prior to the next class. Homework should take around 30 minutes and practice time should take a minimum of one hour each day in order to learn the songs. The most effective practice schedule is to break it up into smaller segments of 15-20 minutes. Students/Parents should read class notes to understand what to do before the next class.
Each student will need the PreTime Piano Disney - primer level. Available at music stores or on Amazon for approximately $6.99+tax. Pencil and eraser.

Students will perform for each other in a recital on the last day!
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Students will use Sproutbeat for music theory games and worksheets. Each student will receive a unique log in and password. This is a free tool for students. Sproutbeat will be used during classtime, initially to introduce the theory games and teach students how to use the worksheets. We will also review assignments as needed.
