Do you love Disney Princesses? Do you love talking about movies? Join us as we compare a different Disney Princess each week, her storyline, and the movie that made her famous. Costumes and tiaras are always welcome!

Overview: Each week, the class will be instructed to watch (or re-watch!) a movie featuring one of the 12 main Disney Princesses. These movies must be watched outside of the class time. Students will use both their imagination and critical thinking skills to discuss Disney Princesses as they learn new information about how these Disney movies were made.
As a ten year veteran of the entertainment industry, and film aficionado, I have worked on over 30 productions in my career. I have a deep understanding of the production values that go into films. I will apply my own knowledge of film analysis in order to encourage critical thinking and open discussion among the students.
Please watch the Disney (Princess) movie for the princess we are discussing prior to coming to class.
Students should watch the Disney Princess movies prior to class. I have included a running list of what movies to expect in the coming weeks in the class information section, which gives families ample time to find and watch each movie.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
We will be watching movies that can be found on Disney Plus and a variety of other streaming platforms. Please be sure you are able to find and watch these movies before the class begins.
