Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 5
Beginner Level
Are you ready to become a confident and respectful communicator? In this interactive class, students will learn the essential steps to craft a well-rounded persuasive paragraph that not only convinces others but also respects diverse opinions. Through engaging activities and guided instruction, students will:

- Understand the key steps in writing a persuasive paragraph, including how to structure an argument effectively.
- Learn the art of persuasion by watching a live demonstration of a persuasive statement being written.
- Develop respectful communication skills, focusing on how to express opinions and listen to others in a thoughtful and considerate way.
- Practice real-life persuasion by engaging in debates and using their new skills to argue a point respectfully and factually.
- Experience the "I do, We do, You do" teaching model, where students first see the process demonstrated, then practice together, and finally apply what they've learned independently.
- Access an optional practice activity, designed to help reinforce the skills they've gained in the class.
By the end of this course, students will be confident in their ability to create persuasive arguments that are logical, respectful, and persuasive. Whether for school assignments, debates, or casual discussions, this class will give students the tools to communicate effectively and thoughtfully.

Join us and take your persuasive writing and communication skills to the next level!
