Class Experience

Beginner Level
Are you ready to become a confident and respectful communicator—especially when it comes to Disney parks? In this interactive class, students will learn the essential steps to craft a well-rounded persuasive argument on Disney parks-related topics that not only convinces others but also respects diverse opinions. Through engaging activities and guided instruction, students will:

Understand the key steps in writing a persuasive paragraph, including how to structure an argument effectively on Disney parks topics, such as favorite attractions, the best park experiences, or upcoming innovations.
Learn the art of persuasion by watching a live demonstration of a persuasive statement being written, focusing on Disney-related themes like park comparisons or entertainment offerings.
Develop respectful communication skills, focusing on how to express opinions and listen to others thoughtfully when debating Disney park topics.
Practice real-life persuasion by engaging in debates about Disney parks, using their new skills to argue points such as which park is the best or how Disney should evolve its experiences.
Experience the "I do, We do, You do" teaching model, where students first see the process demonstrated, then practice together, and finally apply what they've learned independently with Disney-themed prompts.
Access an optional practice activity designed to reinforce the skills they've gained in the class through additional Disney park-related topics.
By the end of this course, students will be confident in their ability to create persuasive arguments that are logical, respectful, and convincing—whether they're debating Disney park features in a school assignment, an online forum, or even among friends. This class will equip students with the tools to communicate effectively and thoughtfully, using the magic of Disney as their backdrop.

Join us and take your persuasive writing and communication skills to the next level—Disney style!
