30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
During this class, students will be taken through a presentation of the various worldwide theme parks, when they were opened, what "original" rides were introduced, and how the rides look different from what we encounter in the US. Our world travel will focus upon the theme park locations and how these different cultures interact with Disney. We will have time for discussion and students to open questions during the slideshow presentation. I love to have discussion in the class so I will create space for that. Students will be able to discuss their thoughts and opinions after learning about theme parks around the world. No experience or previous knowledge is needed for this class. This is a fun brain break that explores different Disney theme park locations around the world.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have over 14 years of education experience working with students anywhere from preschool age to college aged students. I worked with large groups in private and public school classrooms and smaller groups in our church's student and youth ministry. My Bachelor's in Elementary Education and 8 years of home educating my own children has helped me to learn the importance of a good education. Students can go anywhere given the right tools. I believe education should prepare students to become life long learners knowing how to research and formulate their own opinions and decisions as well educated adults. I am excited to bring my love of reading and quality literature to a digital classroom to help your students engage in a new way with books! Travel is a passion of mine as well. So much about our world can be learned through travel so I would love to take your students around our country digitally. If your student is looking for a creative outlet, I have some great craft classes and entry level life skill classes that can let them dip their toes into new hobbies. As a home school mom of four kids, if I am not leading class time in my own home or reading a book for myself, I am planning a trip! We love to RV and travel in the local southeastern part of the USA. We are avid Disney fans who are always planning our next Walt Disney World Trip. Along with our four children who are within 5 years of each other, we have two cats and two dogs which adds to the overall zoo environment. We love our full house where someone is always building something, reading something, or planning a trip into the backyard. I am looking forward to working with your children!
