This special course will go over music, instruments, dance, along with crafts. Each day will highlight a new Disney movie with a craft and dancing. This will promote socialization skills and creativity!
Class experience
This is a class in which we will explore the top Disney movies, and we will talk about the films, socialize with one another and discuss the type of music in the film. We will listen to music, discuss the different genres and musical instruments we hear, and then we will then do art and craft related to the theme/film of the week. Students will broaden their knowledge in music, art, and socialization. They will have opportunities to talk with one another, engage in music and art.
I have are Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Photography minor in Chemistry, AMS Montessori Teaching Certificate, M. Ed in Global perspective, and ABAR Training.
Week 1: Frozen Supply List -toilet paper/paper towel roll -white paint -paper -coloring materials -scissors -glue Week 2: Encanto - 2 plastic/paper cups -1 drinking straw - tissue or crepe paper or coffee filter - tape -scissors -brown paint Week 3: Soul -Paper -paint -straw -coloring materials Week 4: Trolls -tissue box -paint -paper towel roll -rubber bands -popsicle sticks -decorative things (pom poms, stickers, etc.) Week 5: Raya -colored paper -glue -scissors -black marker or pen -template
This class does have time where we are dancing. I would recommend making sure there are no potential hazards in the way of your child being able to dance (having a safe space for child to move around). When children are using scissors and glue, parental guidance is advised.
