Class Details: - One-Time Class - 45-Minute Class - Class Meets Live Via Zoom - Age Group: 6-11 Years Old - Class Size: Up to 10 Students - Class Meets Fridays 3:00pm - 4:00pm PST - Students are encouraged to wear Disney themed clothes, bring a Disney stuffed animal, or even wear mickey or Minnie mouse ears! Learning Topics: - Walt Disney: How do you learn about the happiest place on Earth without learning about the man behind the mouse first? Students will learn about Walt's dreams, how he overcame people telling him that his dream was just that, a dream, and so much more! - THE ORIGINAL 5 LANDS OF DISNEYLAND- - Adventureland: Adventureland is one of the "themed lands" at Disneyland, It is themed to resemble the remote jungles in Africa, Asia, South America, the South Pacific, and the Caribbean. - Fantasyland: Fantasyland contains the famous Sleeping Beauty's Castle, as well as several gentle rides themed after Disney movies. -Tomorrowland: Tomorrowland in Disneyland California represents the vision and fantasy of futurists such as H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, and, of course, Walt Disney. Guests can zoom through Space Mountain, travel through the galaxy in Star Tours, drive racecars, and enjoy so much more as they experience the “future”. - Frontierland: Frontierland is one of the many themed lands in Disneyland Park, built to look like a wild west mining town. - Main Street U.S.A: Inspired by Walt Disney's hometown of Marceline, Missouri, Main Street, U.S.A. is designed to resemble the center of an idealized turn-of-the-20th-century American town. - Pirates of the Caribbean Ride - The Haunted Mansion Ride - The Matterhorn Bobsleds - Our Virtual Ride will be on Pirates of the Caribbean!- OPTIONAL: - An optional printable worksheet will be sent out to students to fill out during class if they so choose

Hello parents and potential learners! My name is Ms. Kodi and I taught two school years of art class to 1st through 8th graders and 9th through 12th graders, as well as two years of teaching an art-themed summer camp. I teach elementary academics with the help of my virtual zoo animals as well as some fun and engaging Marine Biology, Marine Mammology, and Zoology classes. I believe that a classroom should be a safe, caring community where children are free to speak their minds and blossom and grow., whether virtual or in-person I'm always patient with my students and if they get an answer wrong I will kindly steer them in the correct direction and help them understand until they get it right.
