DISNEY KIDS: Magical Music and Movement Extravaganza

Welcome to the most enchanting 30 minutes of your week! Our DISNEY KIDS class is a magical journey where fun meets creativity, and beginners are our special guests!

In this whimsical adventure, we start with a cheerful round of introductions and share our excitement for Disney magic. Next, we warm up our singing voices with a fun vocal exercise that will have everyone ready to shine!

Then, get ready to dive into the heart of Disney as we watch the song of the week straight from the movie magic itself. We’ll chat about what makes the song so special and explore its meaning before we sing along together. No pressure—just joy and laughter!

Following our singing session, it’s time to let our imaginations run wild with playful acting exercises. From pretending to be your favorite characters to creating silly scenarios, it’s all about having fun and expressing ourselves!

As the grand finale, we’ll let you become the choreographer of your own dance! We’ll discuss how to express the song through your own unique moves, making every part of the song come alive with your personal flair.

With 4 years of experience teaching this class, I can’t wait to share the Disney magic with you. It’s a highlight of my week and I’m sure it’ll become a highlight of yours too!

So grab your imagination and your favorite Disney spirit—let’s make some magic together!

Learning Goals
Please note:
- you can begin and end our class at any time, as long as there is a seat available.

- because we build our skills of acting, singing and dancing each week, I encourage my learners to stay enrolled, even if there is a song that they are not interested in. (my students have learned to love songs that they once did not like due to the fun dancing)

- If you leave a class, you may not have a seat available for you when you return.

- Should you need to miss your class time (I understand life gets very busy), please let me know so I can put your learner in another class so they can continue their learning for the week.

Parental Guidance
Due to this being a physical class, please know that a pulled muscle or soreness can occur. This is usually natural due to it being a physical sport and movement. It is also important to be well hydrated and drink plenty of water. Please have the following for the student: - room to move and dance - water for drinking and staying hydrated - wear loose clothes - wear comfortable shoes for dancing. Tennis shoes usually are the best. A student can dance in barefoot if they want. *I would avoid wearing socks to dance in as this makes the floor more slippery.
