Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
1. In this class students will watch the movie before class, answer a few questions and come ready for discussion. During class we will also prepare an inspired dish/snack based on the movie or found in the movie. 2. While baking or cooking your student will learn and practice measurement. 3. Your student will practice reading and following directions. 4. Your student will practice problem solving and build creativity. 5. Your student will have fun in a guided discussion about the movie with new friends.
The recipe and supply list will be added to the class room the Friday before the class begins. If your student needs a recipe with substitutions because of allergies, please let me know. I would be happy to provide one.
4 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
While kitchen safety will be addressed in each class, parental supervision is recommended for students who are not familiar with the use of the oven, knives and other kitchen equipment we will use. If your student has any allergies and you need a recipe with substitutions, please contact me for a personalized recipe
