Description

Class Experience

Students will become familiar with story telling elements and devices.
Students will be exposed to a variety of craft techniques
Students will also develop their social skills, and conversational skills.
Each week the next class's featured title will be announced. Students will not be required to watch each title, but it will be more fun if they're familiar with the stories.
Due to the nature of arts and crafts students may find themselves finishing projects after class.
Each class we will need: a variety of colored paper, scissors, and glue for our patches Optional: safety pins can be attached to back of our patches We will also want to have paper and pencils for drawing Also useful: colored pencils, crayons, or markers Learners will need a second device to play Kahoot. A smart phone or tablet works well.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Students should have their adult's permission before watching any movies or shows on television.
Crafts will regularly use scissors
