In this ongoing club, students will enjoy all there is to Disney Dreamlight Valley while socializing in a warm and friendly environment. By providing a safe space for students to gather, play and discuss their mutual love for Disney, they'll have a chance to practice important social skills such as respecting when others are talking, taking turns, and listening to one another. Each week, learners will gather around to discuss various tips, tricks and personal experiences with Disney Dreamlight Valley. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ GAME DESCRIPTION ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Explore a world filled with the magic of Disney as you discover rich stories and build the perfect neighborhood alongside Disney and Pixar heroes and villains in this new life-sim adventure game! Will you settle on the Beach next to Moana, or call Buzz Lightyear your next-door neighbor in the Plaza? Garden with WALL•E, cook with Remy or kick back and fish with Goofy. What better way to collect, craft, and rebuild the Valley than with friends! From beautiful princesses to nefarious villains, every Dreamlight Valley resident brings their own story arc, quests, and rewards. Meet up in daily hangouts and make friends with some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ IMPORTANT CLASS NOTES ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ This class is an in depth gaming social club that is highly dependent on learner-led discussions each week. Students will come together to discuss all their experiences in the game as well as offer various tips and tricks in order to help others with their progress. Students will also have the opportunity to share their own designs and character creations. Online access is not required for this game since it is a single-player game. My gameplay will be broadcasted via screen share in order for a more immersive and enjoyable experience. Gamertags/Usernames are not required in this class since there is no online playing together. Friend requests are also not required in order to play. Knowledge of prior week classes won't be necessary. The game should be reviewed by parents prior to enrolling in order to assess suitability for their child. Please be sure to download and update the game prior to class so we can get started immediately.
🔌Please be sure to have all devices charged before class and loaded up in order to avoid any technical difficulties at the beginning of class.
It is highly recommended to use separate devices for Zoom and the game. Having both programs running on the same device can cause significant lagging, frame drops and other connection issues. It would be extremely unfortunate if a game would be cut off mid-play if a student is suddenly disconnected from the game.
