In this class, we will focus on Disney Musicals! Shows that have gone from the Big screen to the Stage! We will discuss many of the shows, plotlines, characters, and songs. We will also talk about the origin of the stories whether they be fairytales or literature. Each student will select and prepare a short Disney song that can be used for an audition (or just for fun) and perform it in our last class. Students will improve their understanding of different types of musicals. They will also select and prepare a short Disney song to be shared with the group in our last class.
Homework will consist of practicing their song for our last class.
6 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
