Do you love animal crossing, Disney, and presents? Then come join me for this part social, part treasure hunt, all fun class! In this one-time class, students will come to my 5-star island and roam freely to search and see if they can find all of the movie references. Each reference section will have bells and/or presents that they can pick up and take with them! I have 20+ Disney references all over my island - can you find them all? I also have a maze (how fast can you get out?) and another big magical movie reference. While exploring, having fun, and winning prizes we will also be socializing based on student interest. Discussions may include topics such as: - Villagers (who is your dreamie?) - Sharing Tips/Tricks (landscaping, higher island ratings, etc.) - Sharing Ideas for Island Design - Insect/Fossil/Fish Collections - Flower Breeding - Stalk market tips When you prep to come to my island, please empty your pockets. You will not need a ladder or jump pole. I want your pockets as empty as possible because I want to stuff them with prizes! You MUST have a Nintendo online access membership (and to have played for at least 2 days so your airport is open) to participate in this class. Everyone will join the game via Dodo code one at a time to avoid having connection errors. This can take a bit of time so, learners please have patience. It is recommended that a parent assists in this first part of class until we are all together on the island. Thank you for your understanding!

Please make sure you are comfortable with your student using a dodo code to visit my island.
There are a few nude art pieces in Animal Crossing New Horizons - they are all based on real art pieces such as David by Michelangelo. If you message me at least an hour in advance of class, I can block access to where these art pieces are so they will not be visible.

Hello!
I taught art in traditional public schools for 6 years in Texas and started teaching on Outschool in 2021.
I would say my specialty here on outschool is escape rooms.
I love teaching my passions and believe in teaching the whole child. That is why I love throwing in other tidbits of knowledge while working on a project. It also means if you signed up for an escape room with me, it might be under the category of "math" but I can guarantee you will be challenged at a lot more than just math. I like to challenge students to think outside of the box and come up with unique solutions to creative problems.
I also have taught art classes through Michaels Arts and Crafts stores. My favorite moment was when a young lady told me they had a closer store to them, but they drove further to me because, with me, she "actually learned stuff".
Fun and Personal: I love to create and have fun. In my free time, I love to play both board and video games. I am a huge Disney nerd, and represent the Hufflepuff house with pride. I have a sweet seven-year-old daughter and three cats at home.
