Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Improved communication, critical thinking, group and public speaking skill improvement.
My classes tend to be a combination between lecture style and discussion, and are usually content heavy. Students are encouraged to participate in the discussion related to weekly question prompts about episodes. This is a fun class with historical references to the 80's tied to Stranger Things. This class does have trivia games.
I have been successfully teaching students remotely all over the globe for the last four three years. I have an MHA with years of exp. educating in the healthcare field; and I'm certified ESL Educator. As the teacher moderator, my goal is to make sure that students have fun discussing Stranger Things in a safe and supportive environment while improving their communication and speaking skills. I will post prompted questions in class weekly to spark discussion in class. I will monitor all discussions to ensure a positive environment for all. Group posts do not expire, so learners can also look back on past posts and contribute to the conversation for months to come.
Watch corresponding weekly episodes. Read prompted questions and formulate responses for discussion in class that week.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class. suggests an age of 13+ for this show. This show does include violence and scary themes; this class is meant for students who are already familiar with the show and this listing should not be taken as an endorsement to watch the show.
(Stranger Things is rated PG-13 and is on Netflix.)
