Each class will begin with a math question or problem that focuses on addition and/or subtraction (think word problem). The students will then "discover" the answer in class. This means that students will work toward generating their own ideas for solving the problem at hand. In the first classes students will be given simple, two variable addition problems then move basic, two variable subtraction problems.
