Class experience
In this creative chess class, students with chess experience will learn more about checkmate and strategy including basic tactics and about the three phases of the chess game, including opening games. Players will learn how to become more confident with how the pieces move on the board using better openings, learn common checkmates, and basic tactics like the fork, pin, and skewer. No additional devices are required, needed, or expected, but for playing chess, a second tablet is recommended. Note: Lichess works best on desktops or laptops or very new iPads.
