US Grade 4 - 6
The students will have access to a world map they can download and print out. During class we will locate the country on the map and then discuss its location in concerns with Continent, Hemisphere, coastal or land locked. We will also discuss climate, culture, language and food. We will use this information to do a brief comparison to the country the students live in. The students will learn the different continents, how seasons are affected by the different hemispheres as well as gain insight into different cultures to foster a better understanding of the world.
