In this class, you will learn about traditions and find out the history of villages, towns and cities and what makes the United Kingdom unique and Great. This class will take us up and down the wonderful countryside of the United Kingdom. So come have a cup of tea and travel lightly. Around every corner is something to learn and something to remember. Week 1: Rochester, Kent, England. What makes this place in Kent so important in Kentish history? Week 2: Canterbury, Kent, England. How has Canterbury impacted England. Week 3: Blickling Hall, Norfolk, England. What famous Queen lived here. Week 4: North Norfolk Coast, England. Why is the North Norfolk coast a treasure that all should see. Week 5: Norwich, England. A city with past and present working and waiting for you to discover. Week 6: Dover, Kent, England. Dover how they played an important part in WWII and still play an important role in England. Week 7: Tower of London and the Thames. The history, the treasures and the beauty. *To all students and parents. Although I give homework, please do not feel pressured that you have to do it. The biggest thing that I want you to take from this class is to have fun. *Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot. *Classes are subject to change
