Discovering the Human Body: A Fun and Interactive Journey

Join us for an exciting and interactive introduction to the human body! In the first half of this course, students will explore the five essential body systems: skeletal, muscular, digestive, circulatory, and nervous. Each session is designed to make learning about these systems both fun and memorable. Activities will include read-alouds, simple drawings or coloring pages, and interactive online activities.

Healthy Habits for a Happy Life
In the second half of our journey, we'll focus on taking care of our amazing bodies. Students will learn all about germs and how they can cause illness, as well as ways to prevent the spread of germs. We'll introduce them to two incredible scientists, Edward Jenner and Louis Pasteur, whose discoveries have helped cure diseases.

Students will also discover the five keys to good health: eating well, exercising, sleeping, keeping clean, and having regular checkups. We will discuss the food pyramid and "plate" approach to creating meals keeping into consideration their own cultural and physical needs, such as allergies or intolerances.
