In this engaging 6-day art class, young artists will explore the essential Elements of Art (line, shape, color, texture, and more). Perfect for elementary-aged kids. Sessions will encourages creativity and foundational art skills.

Beginner Level
In this 6-day art class, learners will explore the Elements of Art, including line, shape, color, texture, pattern, and form. Each day focuses on one element through interactive lessons and hands-on projects that build creative confidence and foundational art skills. Class time is structured with a short, engaging introduction using slides or visuals, followed by guided practice, creative project time, and optional sharing/discussion at the end. My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and interactive. I love asking questions and inviting learners to explore their ideas while learning art vocabulary and techniques. Students will interact with me throughout each class as we learn together, share ideas, and give feedback on artwork in a fun, supportive environment!

Line Leaders: The Building Blocks of Art
We will start with the basics...lines! We’ll explore different types of lines (straight, curved, zigzag, bold, thin) and how artists use them to create movement, texture, and design. Learners will create a line-focused artwork filled with energy and creativity. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Shape Up! Exploring Geometric & Organic Shapes
Shapes are everywhere! In this lesson, we’ll dive into geometric vs. organic shapes and how they form the foundation of all artwork. Learners will create a bold, shape-inspired collage or drawing using a variety of shapes. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Color Magic: Mixing & Mastering Colors
Time to bring our art to life with color! We’ll learn about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, plus how to mix and blend them. Students will paint or color their own vibrant color wheel and apply their skills to a creative project. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Texture & Pattern Power!
How does an artist make something look rough, soft, bumpy, or smooth? Today, we’ll explore texture and patterns, using a variety of materials and drawing techniques to create interesting, eye-catching designs full of detail. 40 mins online live lesson
