From Albertosaurus to Triceratops, join us on a tour to search for some prehistoric friends. Meet the dinosaurs of our world-famous Dinosaur Hall on a dino safari! Participants will learn about the different types of dinosaurs found in Alberta, and see some of their incredible fossils. At each stop, we explore a different concept, like carnivores and herbivores, predators and prey, or plants and the ancient environment. This program uses hand polls, dinosaur active stretching, and audience participation to keep even the biggest dinosaur expert engaged! No additional downloads or material is needed to participate in this program.

The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology is a world-class facility located in the heart of the Canadian badlands. Along with one of the world’s largest displays of dinosaurs, we are an active research facility, home to groundbreaking discoveries. By connecting people with the history of life on Earth through the fossil record, we inspire curiosity, shape perspectives, and deepen the understanding and appreciation of natural history.
We expanded our Education Program to include Distance Learning in 2006, and to date, we have connected to over 70,000 participants in 2,600 programs to Canada, the United States, and around the world! Visit the residents of Dinosaur Hall, see authentic fossils, or travel through 4.6 billion years of history from the comfort of your own computer! From our state-of-the-art broadcasting studio, we can stream digital green screen content, fossils, and multimedia to bring the prehistoric world to life.
