Egypt's heartland, the Nile River valley is a fertile, historically important, and exciting land. Come follow the Nile River down through Egypt to sail to some of the ancient world's most dramatic structures. The Nile is the world’s longest river which runs through a desert. History is an interest of mine. I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
Crayons, glue stick or tape, markers, scissors and string/yarn if you want to make a craft into a necklace.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We discuss mummies, mention death and afterlife in context of Pharaohs looking to travel to the afterlife. We will use scissors safely.
