In this ongoing class kids will be introduced to ballet terminology, basic ballet steps, listen to music, follow its rhythm, work on balance and coordination. Elements of creative dance will be introduced as well.
Class experience
In this ongoing class students will have opportunity to develop their dancing skills. This class is designed for 5 and 6 year old kids. Since they are no longer babies, but perhaps still not ready for highly structured lessons, I combine fun creative exercises with an introduction to ballet vocabulary, first ballet steps, as well as more sophisticated choreography. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Dance exercise requires open safe space; comfortable clothing; ballet shoes are the best choice, if it is not available - non slippery socks or comfortable shoes. Kids should not be wearing long, many layered dresses, it will make their exercise difficult and uncomfortable. Camera - I would need to be able to see students legs and arms for timely corrections. Small soft toy will be used as a prop during lesson
