Class Experience

The main goal is to have students be aware how important it is to care for our skin and learn different ways to keep it healthy. We will go over a skincare regimen and I will explain the purpose of each step as well as a massage technique.
An example of an evening skincare regimen:
1) Removing Makeup - It is important to remove makeup and impurities from the environment.
2) Massage Cream - Massaging the skin helps promote improvement in circulation that helps our body repair, relax and feel refreshed.
3) Cleanser - This is gentle soap for our face where bubble helps lift the remainder of impurities, massage cream and makeup remover products that are mostly oil base.
*** Mask - Recommended to use is a few times a week to help with dull complexion, uneven skin tone, rough texture and clogged pores.
4) Toner AKA Balancing Lotion - Neutralizes the pH balance of our skin because soapy water is more alkaline.
5) Moisturizer - Helps bring back moisture that was striped off during the cleansing process and add needed moisture to our skin.
I completed an accredited massage school where I received a certificate and have been teaching about skincare for 20 years with Noevir - a Japanese company. I currently also teach grade school and middle school subjects to my children who I homeschool. I look forward to sharing with you facial massage techniques and details of skincare product steps. I'm offering this class because it's important to understand how our natural moisturizer works and what we can do to keep our skin healthy. Self care is vital to our well being.
Recommendation: Eat healthy, get good rest and take time for self care.
Optional: Skincare products (massage cream, cleanser, mask, toner and/or moisturizer) I will be using a 5 Step Noevir skincare line and a mask.
Progress will be determined by how each student interacts during the course.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
