How do jelly beans get those different delicious and disgusting flavors? Students will discover the secret behind this tasty mystery. Through experimentation, students will learn how their noses influence their taste and the science behind this phenomenon. Students will also perform and observe STEM challenges with jelly beans. This class is sure to be a sweet and memorable one for your child as we do jelly bean challenges as they experiment with different tastes. Throughout the class, students will observe me taking the Bean Boozled Challenge. Together we will learn more about these tasty and sometimes dreadful jelly bean flavors. All students are encouraged to have a bag of jelly beans, toothpicks, a plate, and a cup of water to complete the STEM Challenges. If your child does not have these items, they can still enjoy the class by observing the STEM challenges.
