When you think of Egypt, more often than not, the image of the Great Pyramids comes to mind. In this class, we will learn about the Pyramids in Egypt, using the "Where Is the Great Pyramids?" book by Dorothy and Thomas Hoobler as a basis for our studies. In this 9 week class, we will learn:

Class 1 - Overview of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, The Statue of Zeus at Olympia, The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, The Colossus of Rhodes, The Lighthouse of Alexandria, and The Great Pyramids of Egypt
Class 2 - Brief history and geography of Egypt
Class 3 - The Gift of the Nile; Upper and Lower Egypt; Religion; Rulers; Hieroglyphs
