1 hour per week. Each week, students will have different homework assignments, from worksheets, building a 3D model of the tower out of paper, an engineering project to build an Eiffel Tower that is as tall as they are, and more.Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 5
When you think of Paris, France, more often than not, the image of the Eiffel Tower comes to mind. In this class, we will learn about Niagara Falls, using the "Where Is the Eiffel Tower" book by Dina Anastasio as a basis for our studies. It is not required to have this book for class, but some learners may find it useful to read along with each lesson. In this 5 week class, we will learn: Class 1 - A brief history of France and a look at it's culture; Class 2 - A look at the Galerie des Machines and new technology of the time Class 3 - Who was Gustave Eiffel? What is an engineer? Learning Goals
Students will learn a brief history of France, the definition and examples of engineering, how the tower was built, and the different ways it has been used in history.

Parental Guidance
There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own. Students will play a Kahoot game on the last day of class. They will be provided the game link and access code.
