Generally, each section will be set up in the following way: 1. Class Discussion of Genre/ Making a Class "Poster" of Discussion 2. Teacher Modeling 3. Brainstorming through Notes, Graphic Organizers, etc... 4. Rough Draft 5. Writing Conferencing 6. Editing and Revising 7. Writing Conferencing 8. Lesson 2:
Brainstorming and Planning
We will start with our Writing Warm Up and then jump into vocabulary that we will encounter in the lesson. Each time we look at the vocabulary, I will be checking for students' prior knowledge. I will model the brainstorming and planning process using a think aloud. Then students will have a chance to start on their own brainstorming and planning using a handout provided. Students will finish this at home if needed and send me a picture of their finished work.

Lesson 3:
Rough Draft
We will start with our Writing Warm Up and then jump into vocabulary that we will encounter in the lesson. I will model what a rough draft should look like and then students will get their papers set up for this. For the rough draft, I do want students to use paper and pencil. For the following steps in the writing process, we will use Google Docs.
