In this course students will learn about some Russian very popular rock, pop, and rap singers. In class students will listen to a song, learn about the musician or singer who performes it, and discuss the lyrics of this particular song.

Description
Class Experience
In the beginning of each class I am going to do a short intro to Russian language: students will learn how to say Hello and introduce themselves in Russian. Also, they will learn a couple of "catchy" words, most likely from a chorus of the song chosen for the class. Then we are going to watch 2 youtube videos of 2 songs in Russian language performed by 2 popular singers, after which I will show the lyrics of these songs in English and tell a little about these musicians. Students will discover the world of Russian rock through the songs performed by the famous rock musicians. Getting familiar with other culture and music will expand students' learning horizons.
No homework in this class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
