In this strategy class, experienced players will focus on their broad intermediate skills, and learn to think carefully about captures, trades, tempo, and tactics that result in powerful checkmates. Learners will also play regular matches.

Description
Class Experience
A second device may be helpful.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class uses Lichess.org, and students will be given a chess account created by the teacher, unless they already have one. Knowledge of the annotation and chat on Zoom is essential. Having a chess board helps with skills practice.
