Together, we will draw a simple rocket by using basic shapes, lines and step-by-step instruction. Students will use and identify colors and shapes. Students will briefly discuss rockets in a child appropriate and fun manner. Students will be presented with child-friendly space centered jokes and facts. Students will be encouraged to add creative elements to their background. Students will be gently encouraged to show their final drawing to one another, however sharing is never required. We will have an ART-tastic time discussing the qualities of each other's artwork, finding the differences and beauty in unique details.
