Class Experience
Hello, Prehistoric Scientists, and thank you for your interest in Dinosaurs Untamed: Triceratops! In this one-time class, we will take a close look at the cows of the Cretaceous Period, Triceratops! This class is structured such that it has equal amounts of academic learning and student discussion and engagement. We will learn facts about the massive herbivore, Triceratops, such as the meaning of its name, what it ate, how long it was, how heavy it was, how long ago it lived, where it...
Goal #1: Have fun! Goal #2: Identify Triceratops by picture. Goal #3: Correctly pronounce Triceratops's name. Goal #4: Learn at least one fun fact about Triceratops. Goal #5: Foster students' social interaction by allowing engaging discussion time.
I have an undergraduate minor in Environmental Science, love studying Paleontology, and have taught paleontology-related topics to learners age 3 - 10 since August 2020.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
