Students will learn about the group of raptor relatives that decided to go for plants and develop long claws to defend themselves from predators as big as T. rex. I will cover early members of the family, their long claws, how the claws made them good herbivores and good weapons. The class will be structured chronologically along the Therizinosaur family tree, finally ending with Therizinosaurus itself.
Students will become aware of the therizinosaur family of dinosaurs.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
