In this one time class, students will learn about the different types of long-necked dinosaurs and just how much variety there was.
Class Experience
The subjects taught will be about the sauropods, the infamous long-necked dinosaurs. The topics covered will be their ancestors, the prosauropods, why they got bigger, how big they got. Their long necks, their long tails, and some examples of the famous ones such as Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus and Brontosaurus. The class will be structured in the order of the family tree of the sauropods, going from the Triassic Period to the Cretaceous. I will be teaching through zoom and my teaching style...
Students will learn about the sauropod family tree and what made them such as successful family of dinosaurs.
