Dinosaur Singing Class for Young Beginners

Think voice lessons are boring? Not here! In this adventure voice class, learners will learn an original song, sing silly warm-ups, and learn "proper vocal habits" (although they might be having too much fun to notice!)

🎶 Singing will be taught from a classical perspective.

🎶 No previous experience is needed! 

🎶 Students will learn some musical terminology - scale, ascending, and descending. 

🎶 Learners should expect to sing and engage in listening activities throughout the class. 


The class will begin with introductions, stretching, breathing, and warm-ups. At the end of class I will teach the song "Dinosaur Roar," an original song that I wrote and recorded. They will also have access to their own soundtrack to the song so they can sing it by themselves.

We will do some stretching and breathing exercises while I remind the students to have a good posture. Learning to have breath control is fundamentally important for young singers. Then we will sing simple vocal warmups. Students will sing together along with me as I play piano. 

The class will follow a dinosaur story line as we sing, and the exercises will be engaging and entertaining. Learners will be encouraged to sing along and participate with the activities. 


I want students to leave this class excited about singing, and feeling more confident.
