Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
In this class, students will learn about sauropods, especially the Brachiosaurus, from the Jurassic Period. Students are welcome to bring a favorite dinosaur toy or book to show us in class. We will have a special dinosaur show and tell time! They will learn about the characteristics of a sauropod and how they are different from carnivorous dinosaurs. I will teach the students the name of the most common tree that Brachiosaurus dinosaurs ate from, and how to identify this kind of tree by it's leaves. Then, I will show the students a simple way to draw the Brachiosaurs by tracing their hand. The students will be amazed that dinosaurs are not as difficult to draw as they may have thought! The most fun part of the class is that students will learn about dinosaur poop and how fossilized poop is used in these present days. Be sure to ask them what they learned afterwards! We're going to have a dinotastic learning time together!

Hello from the U.S.A.! Specializing in Quilling and Science classes, I offer a variety of one-time, multi-day, and ongoing classes. Graduating college with a degree in Early Childhood Education has allowed me to teach children, ages 4-12. My master's is in Counseling. I believe that the combination of my bachelor's and master's work, as well as my soft skills make me a patient, kind, and loving teacher.

The emotional well-being of students always comes first. I strive to give my learners an atmosphere where learning feels comfortable and never stressful. My experience as a mother of three has taught me much about how children learn best. I strive to provide exactly that perfect learning atmosphere in my online classes.

My strength areas are:

-Cross-Cultural Communication:
Having lived and traveled extensively abroad, I enjoy meeting and teaching students all over the world!

-S.T.E.A.M.:
I'm very passionate about S.T.E.A.M. education, especially Science and Art! These subjects are incorporated often into my classes.

-Scaffolding:
I constantly evaluate the progress of my students and adjust my teaching to meet their needs.

-Student Encouragement:
Celebrating wins with students is my delight! I want them to know that I am happy to help them learn and I want them to succeed!

My hobbies include kayaking, swimming, and quilling paper art. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family at Lake Hartwell, Georgia, U.S.A., where I live with my husband, three children, and our bordoodle Princess. I hope to teach your learner soon!
