Class Experience

Students will learn key problem solving skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Students will learn how to work with a team and co-operate with each other in order to achieve an end goal.
Students will be encouraged to explore creativity through performing or role playing as their character.
Required Materials : A 5th edition character levels 3-6 only, a set of dice (1d4; 1d6; 1d8; 1d10; 1d100; 1d20), pencil, and scrap paper. If you do not have dice, there are plenty of free apps you can use if you do not wish to buy a set. Otherwise, sets can be purchased easily through Amazon or at comic book/board game stores. Players should have a good familiarity with the game as this is a higher level adventure and will be more difficult than my lower level adventures. If your student is not sure how to level up their character now that they have gotten experience from past adventures, then check out the YouTube video listed in the materials.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Dungeons and Dragons inherently includes fantasy violence. Students will be fighting monsters, but I will never encourage students to enact that violence towards other persons in game.
