In this 4-day art camp, learners will pencil, ink, and shade a different dinosaur each day, while we discuss the features of the species.
Class experience
In this four day camp, we will draw a different dinosaur each day, starting with a pencil sketch which we will then outline and crosshatch with pen, resulting in a satisfyingly realistic final picture. While we draw, we will discuss the features of each species and why they may have been the way they were. Day one - we will draw and discuss the duck-billed parasaurolophus. Students will learn advanced multi-step drawing techniques, similar to those used by professionals. We will learn a little about each dinosaur too, such as what it ate and what its probable habitat and range were.
