Dinosaur Bones: Story and Fossil Making

Who Doesn't love dinosaurs? In this one-time class we will be reading the story Dinosaur Bones by Bob Barner. In this book we will be looking at How the dinosaurs are gone and only their bones are left. We will look at the skeletons of some of the popular dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus,and Triceratops. We will then use model magic clay (any type of clay or play-doh will work but I like the model magic the best) to make dinosaur in prints in the clay to make our own fossils. You will need some plastic dinosaurs to make the imprints.
