Class Experience

Get ready to rawr, stomp, munch and crunch like a dinosaur while learning letters, phonics and facts. This class is twice per week where the first class consists of tracing letters, coloring, practicing phonics and learning about our dinosaur of the week. The second class for the week will have a hands-on craft or dinosaur inspired science experiment. I will provide letter tracing and coloring pages for each letter and dinosaur. I often sing songs to help with memory and phonics. Students will be asked to share what dinosaur is their favorite and can participate in show-and-tell by featuring their favorite toys. I do not usually screen-share, instead I will use books and props to show the dinosaur and letter of the day. I will provide step-by-step instructions for completing our crafts and science experiments together. Students should be prepared with writing and coloring utensils to trace our letter of the day and color the corresponding worksheet.

Hello parents and students,

I encourage learning through enthusiastic engagement. I believe children learn best through curiosity or play. Teaching online has been my passion since 2015. I was an online English teacher with VIPKID for over three years and an Outschool teacher for ever since. VIPKID taught me how to engage with students in a virtual setting. They taught me how to use props, singing and demonstrations to increase learning. I encourage student output and participation during class.

I have a bachelors degree in marketing and science. I am an entrepreneur and business owner. I have also been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. I am a homeschooling mother to my twin sons and my two daughters. I am constantly seeking creative ways for my children and students to learn new things.
