Class Experience

In this fun class , we will meet  and begin our day with some fun movement. This class is perfect to set a great daily routine while avoiding the dreaded SUMMER SLIDE! 

PLEASE NOTE *** This class is ONCE per week, I have a similar class which is 5 times a week --- this one , however is , weekly!***

Every class, once we have gotten our wiggles out with our morning movement, we will go over calendar and weather. We will talk about how we are feeling as we dive in our thematic games which will...

-Turn taking
-Muting and unmuting themselves
-Letter formation, writing stamina
-Letter recognition / sound recognition
-Number formation
-Number recognition 
-Shape recognition and replication
-Identifying beginning , middle and end sounds 
-Identifying sequencing in stories

0-1 hour on your own town to review weekly concepts.

- Weekly handouts will be sent Sunday evening for the week. Some days , we may not have any hand outs and it may be hand on activities with play doh or anything else available. Prior notice will be given if extra materials will be needed, these materials can easily be found or substituted.
-Pen/ paper or marker and dry erase board

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Informal assessment, parents will be contacted if any areas need more practice. 

Extra resources and handouts can be provided.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
