Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn the uppercase and lowercase letters "Rr," "Ss," and "Tt" and the correlating phonic sounds. Students will also practice counting quantities varying up to 20. All students will have the chance to practice presenting in front of the class by doing a show-and-tell.
1 file available upon enrollmentPlease print the worksheet for class beforehand and bring any coloring and writing utensils your child prefers. Please also have the child wear their favorite dinosaur shirt/pants (or whatever they like!) and bring an item for show-and-tell. They can think about how they would describe the toy/item, why they like the toy/item, why it is special to them, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will gladly send a private message with feedback on the child's progress and participation as requested.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I try my best to have everyone unmuted as much as possible, but please ensure your child is able to mute and unmute on their own or have you close by to help them. We want everyone to be able to hear one another well during our class introductions and show-and-tell. Please be aware that we will be doing a sitting and standing game, hand motions, stomping in place in our chairs/class area. It would be best to have this class in an open space and for the parent to be nearby. If there are physical limitations or if you feel uncomfortable with these aspects of the class, please let me know beforehand and I can make accommodations.
